We don't handle the tenancy or payments: the agreement is between you. What we do is the part no portal does: tell you who fits the household and why.
They fit the household, not just you
If there are three of you, the candidate will live with all three. So compatibility is calculated against everyone, weighted towards the worst fit: a 90, a 90 and a 40 isn't a 73, it's a problem waiting to happen. And we tell you exactly who.
It's what makes the calculation worth anything. They're invited with a code and it takes four minutes. If someone doesn't, compatibility is calculated against those who did, and we tell you how many.
Is my address shown?
Never. The area is visible; the rest you share when you decide to.
Can I stop once I've found someone?
Yes. You can pause the listing or close it, and reopen it whenever you like without losing anything.
Does it cost anything?
Right now, no: creating your profile, posting the room, seeing who fits and talking to them is free.
What if my room is listed on another site?
You can keep it in both places. What Roomealo adds is knowing, among the people who message you, who you'd genuinely get on with. Many hosts ask candidates to take the test before the viewing.
