The Easygoing
We'll figure it out.
Mess and changes of plan don't stress you. You adapt to almost any household without drama.
One of Roomealo's eight living profiles. If you recognise yourself, you probably are one.
Lives well with
Relaxed people, light on rules.
Watch out for
With someone very methodical, the extra effort will be yours.
How someone with the The Easygoing profile lives
Your day at home has no timetable. You eat when you're hungry, sleep late, and leave a mug wherever you finished it. Someone's playing music? Fine. Someone's brought people back? You'll probably join them. You'll share your food without thinking and eat someone else's without noticing. If the flat decides to reorganise the kitchen, you'll adapt to whatever it ends up as. You're not particularly private and not particularly loud. You just live there, easily.
You're the flatmate who never causes a crisis. Rota changed, rent split differently, room swapped, new person moving in: none of it fazes you, and that flexibility is worth more than people realise. You take a bit of noise and a bit of mess in your stride, so you fit into most flats without friction. People find you easy to be around, because you don't judge how they live and you don't need them to live like you.
What people don't see is that you rarely say when something bothers you, so the first anyone hears of it is when you've had enough. Your relaxed relationship with mess is, to a tidy flatmate, a daily insult, and “I'll do it later” is a sentence you say more than you'd like. Because you adapt so much, you can end up doing everyone else's version of home and not really your own. A very structured household will feel like a job, and you'll quietly drift.

What to ask at the viewing if you're a The Easygoing
- 1.How much does it bother people here when dishes or clothes are left out for a day, honestly?
- 2.How set is the routine of the flat: are there rotas and fixed rules, or does it run more on people getting along?
- 3.When someone is annoyed about something, how does it usually surface: straight away, on the group chat, or not at all?
